About Me

Hi. I’m currently a grad student pursuing my doctoral degree in Industrial Engineering at North Carolina State University. My primary research interests are in the fields of Health-care Operations Research, Social Network Analysis and Mathematical Programming. Ever since I joined North Carolina State University, the primary focus for the application of my research has been in the field of healthcare. Along with a team of researchers, we employ a mix of data analysis, simulation and optimization-based tools to help inform public policy, efficiently allocate resources, and develop and validate intervention techniques to improve long-term and overall health outcomes. Feel free to check out my CV here and my resume here.

When not working on research, you can can either find me at home playing video games or outdoors at one of the many fun food/drink establishments in Raleigh. I am also a huge fan of Formula 1 and believe that it is the most technically advanced sport in the world. Do check out my blog on F1 here.

Finally, if you’d like to get in touch with me, feel free to send me an email at snambia <at> ncsu <dot> edu
